I use it in ALL of my offers, and probably always will. It\u2019s as effective today as it was when he first wrote it back in 2006.<\/p><p>Before I get into the list, one more thing\u2026<\/p><p>Don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t consider yourself a \u201ccopywriter\u201d or master of psychology. For instance, you might start with  &quot;Attention e-commerce sellers!&quot; or make a statement that stops  readers in their tracks. Think about it this way: if you&#8217;re selling a drill, your customers don&#8217;t care about the intricacies of the motor \u2013 they care about the hole it&#8217;s going to make in their wall.<\/p><h4><strong>Remember &#8211; always sell the benefits, not the features<\/strong>.<\/h4><p>People care that their brand new refrigerator will keep their produce fresh twice as long as the competition. They don\u2019t need all the details of the internal components.<\/p><p>Keep it simple, focusing on the end result your customer wants to achieve.<\/p><p>Here\u2019s how I gave a \u201chigh-level\u201d breakdown of how our<em> Commission Blueprint Supercharged<\/em> product works at the beginning of my webinar\u2026<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4d49878 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4d49878\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b18e4c5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b18e4c5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 4: Highlight Unique Features and Benefits<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-246302a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"246302a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is where you get into the meat of  what your product offers. But again, there&#8217;s a crucial distinction between  features and benefits.<\/p>\n<p>  Features are what your product has or  does. Benefits are what those features mean for your customer. A good way to  ensure you&#8217;re focusing on benefits is to add &quot;so that&#8230;&quot; to the end  of each feature statement.<\/p>\n<p>  For example: &quot;Our drill comes with  multiple drill bits (<strong>feature<\/strong>) so  that you can make holes of any size for any project (<strong>benefit<\/strong>).&quot;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-295ac0d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"295ac0d\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-346b54c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"346b54c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 5: Justify the Purchase<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-45d3c09 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"45d3c09\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At this point, your potential customer is  interested, but they might be wondering if it&#8217;s worth the investment. <\/p>\n<p>  Your job is to<strong><em> remove any doubt<\/em><\/strong> from  their mind.<\/p>\n<p>  You can do this by showcasing the value  they&#8217;ll receive, comparing your offer to alternatives (which don&#8217;t necessarily  have to be direct competitors), and demonstrating both short-term and long-term  benefits.<\/p>\n<p>  Make them see that this isn&#8217;t just a  purchase \u2013 <u>it&#8217;s an investment in their future<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>  Simple things like calling a purchase an  &ldquo;<strong>investment<\/strong>&rdquo; go a long way  psychologically in the customer&#8217;s mind. Just make sure it truly is an  investment. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2af6822 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2af6822\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9c29aa1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9c29aa1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 6: Address Service and Risk<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9fb452c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9fb452c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Even if someone is convinced your product is amazing, they still might hesitate to buy. Tell your potential customer exactly what they need to do next to get your product.<\/p><p>Don&#8217;t be shy here \u2013 be clear and direct.<\/p><p>And don&#8217;t just ask once. Reiterate what they stand to lose if they don&#8217;t take action, and then ask again.<\/p><p>Remember, your entire piece of copy should flow like a &#8220;slippery slide,&#8221; as Sugarman puts it. Each section should naturally lead to the next, creating an irresistible momentum that carries your reader all the way to the purchase.<\/p><p>By following these seven steps, you create a compelling narrative that not only informs your potential customers but also motivates them to take action. It&#8217;s a formula that has stood the test of time and generated millions in sales across various industries and platforms.<\/p><p><em>So what\u2019s next?<\/em><\/p><p>Pick one of two of your favorites from above and start working them into your own marketing. It\u2019s okay if you don\u2019t do all 7 at once.
